2011 Recap

2011 was another great tournament! The weather was a bit chilly, but that didn't stop the hundreds of young female lacrosse players, coaches, parents, officials, and volunteers from playing lacrosse and raising over $19,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. That brings our 4 year total contributions to the WWP of over $60,000! As long as there are U.S. troops in harm's way oversees, we will continiue to show our support by rasing funds to help our wounded warriors when they come home!

2010 Recap

2010 was our best & biggest charity tournament yet! The players, parents, coaches, and refs raised over $17,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. That brings our 3 year total contributions to the WWP of $44,800. Thanks for supporting our wounded vets! 46 teams from Suffolk, Nassau, and Westchester counties participated. The weather was great

and we hope to see everyone again in 2011!

About the Wounded Warrior Project
Wounded Warrior Project's mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors who incur service-connected wounds, injuries and illnesses (physical or psychological) on or after September 11, 2001. Over 40,000 service members have been injured in the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is further estimated that over 300,000 suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or depression. Through innovative programs, services, and now technology, WWP is further connecting and finding resources for this generation of warriors.
